Nicole believes that life is too short (and precious) not to use your talents to leave things better than how you found them – and that there are many ways to do that professionally. She’s been fortunate to have found her niche proving out the model of business for good – that a business can be designed as both for-profit and for-purpose.

As an experienced impact leader, seasoned entrepreneur and intrapreneur, and twice over founding executive Nicole has spent the past 15 years growing organizations with mandates to benefit community, team and planet. She understands balancing profits + purpose, building and innovating organizations for success, operational excellence, community building and the complexity of hybrid business models. She's also a proud investor/advisor/supporter in the impact space.

Nicole most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of NationSwell, a social impact company providing purpose-driven leaders the support they need to accelerate their organization’s positive social impact. As founding COO, Nicole initiated NationSwell’s path to B Corp (Benefit Corp) certification and over her six year tenure was instrumental in shaping the vision of the company, while building and leading high performing teams to revenue growth alongside measurable societal impact, including on topics of, business for good, environmental sustainability, education, economic opportunity, diversity, equity & inclusion, gender equity, future of work and more. Nicole also supported and advised social entrepreneurs within the NationSwell community on best practices and early-stage growth.

Prior to NationSwell, Nicole led a Founding Benefit Corp, BBMG, a brand innovation consultancy focused on embedding purpose into the brands of for-profits companies. She also led and grew a design studio in NYC, and began her career as a Mergers & Acquisitions consultant at PwC.

Nicole is an admired leader with a high success rate of vision setting and finding top talent who are well positioned to succeed while also excellent additions to company culture and mission. She takes pride in high quality work that exhibits creativity, intellect, kindness and impact.

At the core of Nicole’s efforts is the belief that for-profit organizations can also do good and be good for all involved.

Nicole hails from a third culture kid upbringing, and is thankful for the awareness of how a global perspective and divergent upbringings intersect the workplace.

As a lifelong fan of athletics and adventurous pursuits, Nicole’s past lives include following the winter between hemispheres to teach skiing in three countries, elite racing and coaching triathlons (requiring the occasional dip in the Hudson River) and sailing the beautiful blue seas.

Nicole currently lives in NYC, enjoying the melting pot of cultures and change-makers, and is immensely grateful for her partner Mark, bouncing bean of a son Marty and little lady babe Lottie.
